Vanu-Am
Vanu-Am (literally "Daughter-Time") was the persona of "Time" found in Dwarven mythos. She was considered to be a "Rogue Celestial" due to her being cut off from the heavenly plane. Though her cult and writings were missing for several millennia, they re-surfaced in the 57th century in Lysandus, and her worship was reinstated.
Myths
According to the myths of Dwarven Creation, she was the first celestial formed by the dwarf god Boldur. He designed her to be a mediator over his own creation. She would bring order upon things that her father constructed. Once the mortals of Talamh were created, Vanu-Am's duties got more complicated. How was she going to deal with beings, the Dwarves, who had free thought like her father? She decided to stay away and watch. The Dwarves would fall, and Vanu-Am regretted never again taking any action. In servitude to Boldur, she made it her mission to start helping the history of Talamh. Still leaving the Dwarves alone, she began to play the humans like chess pieces. She placed circumstances for them to have liberation from the dragons. Then, by the end of the 14th century 1A, any trace of her historical presence or myths strangely disappeared. Of course, she wasn't truly gone. Modern Lore Bards speculate she has simply taken different forms in Dwarven myth, or disguised as different individuals of Eirenan histories Modern clerics of Boldur insist on keeping her within their religious doctrines, despite how the Lawstone insists only Boldur to be worshiped. Conservative clerics wish to treat her former worship as apocryphal or even heresy, believing that Boldur does not need an aid in his surveying and hold of the universe. Then, some clerics outright say she never existed and the stories of her are human contributions to their lore and beliefs, based on Amagus. Whatever the truth really is, it may remained lost in history forever. As The Lady of the Lake
Particularly in Lysandan myth, Vanu-Am took upon the form of a mysterious fey, called the Lady of the Lake (or "Vivian" in the Lysandan tongue), in order to influence history in the plane of Talamh. Vivian made several pacts with heroes, such as Beorhtric of Keller, Aethel Ebenwald, Sir Yorick, and finally Riley Woodhame in 5689."Vivian" with Riley Woodhame, her Eternal Champion, near the Forest of the Fey in Ellis, Lysandus.
Why did she take this persona? Vanu-Am revealed herself that the god Boldur, despite giving her control over fate and history, did not like her personal tampering with the destinies of mortals. As such, Vanu-Am took up the disguise in order to discreetly influence mortals to do her bidding without knowing it was eldritch in nature. This became vital in the year 5689, where the goddess Tiamat tried to place humans under draconic subjugation again, using the Knights of Black Dragon. Vivian influenced Riley Woodhame and his adventuring allies to stop the Knights of Black Dragon. Vivian then broke her disguise, teleporting the party to Amagus Tower in a hurry, and alerting Boldur of her tampering.
Boldur restricted Vivian from interfering with mortals for another thousand years. But it did not matter, as Vivian's newest champion, Riley Woodhame, would continue to do her bidding for centuries to come. She would also take up other thralls in secret. In her very words:
"For I love the mortals. Their destruction would cause great pain in the universe. However, it is by their hand that they must save themselves. Why not help such a hand?"
