Snowcrack Pub
The Snowcrack Pub is a moderately sized venue on the borough of twisting and turning streets making up the Great Knot sector of Arvene, a city on the Western coast of Cornum. This location is purposeful, as the owner also tends a farm outside the city to the north where he grows the chestnuts and raises the Grackle Bees necessary to make his particular wares.
This establishment named itself after an item on its menu called Crackle Mead, a type of drink made from a cold fermentation process of Snowcrack Chestnuts and Ice Honey. The mead is made in-house in a huge, insulated frosty chamber underneath the building that gives it an eternally cool temperature, even in the hottest summer months.
The owner of this pub is one frosty Iiric Rosener, a Jaskin man paler than most, his thick beard growing in entirely bluish white. Some say this is the effect of too much Crackle Mead! Or perhaps a poor side effect of early drafts... He is a taller, burly man, and his demeanor may seem rather cold to the weary stranger stumbling into his establishment, but he is kind once the ice is broken. Iiric is a fan of bad dad jokes about ice and cold, but is also hard to impress, as many people have told him lots of jokes.
Iiric is a great source of information on fermentation and farming practices in Cornum, local game practices, as well as a source for work, if you want it.

Alterations
In 575, Iiric and a crew of icemen dug a permanent fermentation chamber underneath the pub to create their famous Crackle Mead.
Architecture
The Snowcrack Pub is built out of stone and wood. An entirely wooden structure wouldn't survive the stunning cold created by the brewing process done in the facility, so only the floors, inner walls of the main room, and support beams are wood, the rest of the structure stone. Furnishings are heavy and wooden, and the crest of Arvene hangs in a few places around the building, as well as out front the door.
