Coia: 43 - Reading the Compass

General Summary

The Vanguard purchases some horses and buggies, checks the compass and heads towards Exningdon to destroy the final portal. After traveling for a while, they stop to check the compass and realize they completely overshot the mark. Retracing their steps, they discover a platinum mining camp where the foreman Eggert Cort gives them a bit of trouble but is placated by the offering of their horses and buggies. After looking around and trying to figure out how the compass worked, the group discovered that the portal was above them and headed up to find a series of streams. They fought their way through a band of sorrowsworn to reveal the final portal. But just as they got to it, they heard noises coming from the other side of the mine.
