Rainbow Steer

A large kind of Beasts which roams Continental alone or with its children, a Rainbow Steer can exist in any climate it finds its self in thanks to its thick hide and powerful body. Its fur also shifts in color depending on a variety of factors, giving it the name Rainbow Steer. The Beasts are over 15 feet tall at the shoulder and 25 feet long. A full grown specimen can weigh up to 5,000 pounds, but most weigh between 3,000 and 4,000 pounds. At a full charge they can run up to 90 miles per hour, and in mountainous terrain they are surprisingly agile climbers, though their weight prevents them from climbing sometimes. In addition to obvious physical power, Rainbow Steers have a few abilities which are:
  • Venom
  • Color changing fur
  • Weather and temperature resistance
  • High resistance to pain
  • Ability to make other things reflect colors
The venom is injected through the massive sets of horns which jut out from the head and shoulders of the Steer. And since it is venom and the beast has at least one other ability that means that a Rainbow Steer can induce Beasthropy.     A Rainbow Steer isn't hard to kill, but it does take significant manpower, weapons, and planning.
