General Physical Condition
Though he was once the pinnacle of fitness with a warrior's physique, his age has withered his body and greyed his fur. He has grown more and more infirm with age, and now he has a hard time swinging his blade around and fighting as he once did. Other than his age, however, he is is fine shape and has no ailments or illnesses.
Identifying Characteristics
His shining golden fur that radiates light and warmth like the sun itself is his most trademark feature, and the source of his title, 'The Incandescent Shogun'.
Special abilities
His absolute mastery of the blade and his own technique, 'The Heartblade Technique' are his primary abilities. He is said to have reached the very pinnacle of sword-mastery and has grown near to being named a 'Sword Saint'...an incomparably high honor in The Ursidae Dynasties afforded only to 3 people in the country's history. His skills with The Heartblade Technique are so fierce that despite his age, he can cut down a grown healthy warrior in the blink of an eye from nearly 20 feet away...with a single strike. His mastery of his technique borders on the supernatural and is said to enter the realm of the gods, and is his greatest asset and ability...thousands flock to him monthly to even have the chance to be taught in his technique.

In the prime of his life, he would don the beautiful and master-crafted armor, complete with Kabuto and facemask that would provide him full bodily coverage against attacks beneath layered metal plates. As a teenager, he returned from slavery that his own father sold him into to hide his nature as a bastard child to successfully inspire and lead a rebellion against his father, the then unpopular lord of the poverty-wracked and downtrodden Shao Dynasty.
As a teenager, he was successfully able to overthrow his father and assume command of the Shao Dynasty, killing his father and all of his siblings in an incredibly bloody revolution that saw to the complete extermination of the old guard of the Dynasty.
During this time, he lead numerous campaigns and instituted dozens of societal, militaristic, and economic reforms of all kinds, reconquering the lands of the Shao Dynasty lost to rival Dynasties and the trappings of time and inadequacy. During this time, he returned the Shao Dynasty to a level of power and prestige that it had not seen in a century, and successfully saved his people and himself from the brink of destruction.
After securing his own Dynasty, he went on to garner political and militaristic support for a war against the then-Shogun, a popular but aging warlord of the Matsushima Dynasty that had recently seen his shogunate undergo several disgraces during wars and rivalries.
At the humble age of 23, he was crowned Shogun after the successful war against the Matsushima Shogunate and its aging Shogun, becoming the youngest Ursini in the history of The Ursidae Dynasties to take the seat of Shogun.
He then went on to break dozens more records and eventually became the longest reigning shogun in history, fending off hundreds of assassination attempts, winning dozens of wars, surviving coups...for over 50 years has he held the seat of Shogun, and during this time his deeds and his story have become the stuff of legend. He has become one of Tamamo-No-Mae, The Kitsune Queen's most beloved Concubines, sired several of her children, and has inspired an entire generation of Ursini to believe that anyone, no matter how lowly, craven, or unwanted can rise to the highest of heights both in politics and swordsmanship.

However...one would be foolish to assume him a kind-hearted man. What happened in that citadel exactly none shall ever know, but the two became close friends and even lovers shortly afterwards, siring several children together and enjoying each others company until Targutai's duties soon carried him home...but this time, with his signature shining golden fur, said to be proof of the undying love he shares with his queen and goddess, and the promise she is said to have made to him:
