The Desert Pantheon
The Pantheon of The Endless Sands
Life is harsh in The Endless Sands...and in such a harsh land where the sun shines unendingly it is no surprise its people turn to faith to find comfort in so many aspects of their lives. Though the various people who live here come in all shapes and sizes and even moralities, they pay homage to their gods in a plethora of way and in a variety of styles...and as a result, the gods that hold sway in this brutal and unforgiving pantheon are are varied as the stars in the sky.
Sitting at the top of the Pantheon is the Sun God Khamun-Ra, The Divine Pharaoh, who rules the Pantheon as its king and, according to the faithful who venerate these gods, does so with a resplendent majesty and blinding incandescence that none can match save for Bahamut himself. He is said to be fair and rules his children with a firm, kingly hand and is renowned for his wisdom...but also his terrifying lordliness. His children often bicker and squabble, and Rashid is said to torment his siblings unendingly while Nour and his daughter Nour'Ana rule over the Desert Elves and all who pay them veneration with quiet fairness, both rarely associating with their family. Ashir, much like his radiant father, prizes neutrality rather than morality and often serves as a counterbalance to his more moral siblings...though, he often disagrees with his more Lawful father.
