The misguided war waged by The Aurelian Hegemony of Man against the High Lamia that resulted in their absolute destruction, the destruction of their armies, and their humiliation.

After their humiliation at the hands of the High Lamia years prior in their failed assassination attempt, The Aurelian Hegemony of Man musters its armies and declares war on the High Lamia to rid the world of their evil once and for all.   Having gravely underestimated the strength of their foe, the war was little more than a genocide, as the High Lamia had become so powerful that the army fielded against them was little more than insects they devoured by the thousands. Devouring every last scrap of metal and every last soldier sent against them, the High Lamia crushed the Hegemony's army and digested it in the span of barely a month or two.   So pitiful and one-sided was the battle that teenage High Lamia were said to have been the primary warriors in the conflict, lazily and happily eating their ways through the army fielded against them that was so utterly outmatched they could not overcome or escape young hatchlings.
