Averra Korria Morden Kadron (a.k.a. The Blackbird)

Averra is a Zalarite battle mage. The daughter of a Zalarite officer the hope was she would grow up to be a warrior and take her place in the ranks. Averra turned out to be too small to be an effective warrior, but she was smart and showed a talent for magic. As a result at age 12 she began to train as a battle mage to support the Zalarite army. After seeing her action she was approached to join the Shadow Cohort, effectively a small specialist combat unit working under one of the Order's top fixers. Since joining the unit she has become the lover of its commander, Arrenda Eslan.
