Coven of Rowes
The Coven of Rowes is the Sister Coven of the Coven of Aldoris. Over the years, the Coven of Aldoris both recruited new witches and the teenage daughter of the Aldoran Witches came of age. This lead Queen Varriya, the Coven Mistress of Aldoris to decide to split the coven and build up a second Coven of Celyar worshiping wishes on Rowes. The plan was this coven would strengthen the alliance with the Lords of Rowes and when they time came for Queen Varriya to attempt to retake control of Merras, it would greatly expand the resources at her disposal.
Varriya dispatched her eldest daughter Kannara to Rowes along with four younger women. Each year they were joined by more witches both through the daughters of the Aldoran witches reaching their majority and by recruiting apprentices on Rowes. The coven has been granted a small holding in payment for their services. The witches have used some of their wealth to build up a force of bodyguards and have found various magical guardians for their small castle on the eastern shore of the main island of Rowes.
Varriya and Kannara have plans to create yet more covens as they build up their resources. Uppermost in their plans is accumulating enough wealth to hire ships and mercenaries to invade Merras
