Dragon's Reach

A long, heavily forested and rugged island off the North Coast of the Faroo. The island and the waters around it have a problem with marauding Wyverns. The coastal waters are dangerous with numerous reefs and shoals in the area. The island is home to several villages of fisher folk who often double as pirates and wreckers. The villages feature wooden palisades and tend to be geographically isolated from each other by steep forested hills.

Geography

The island has a spine of steep hills, most of which are heavily forested. The coast line is a combination of sea cliffs (especially on the north coast), rocky shingles and bays sheltered by rocky headlands. The coastline features a number of sea caves and rock arches. The island fishing villages are all located on sheltered bays.
