The temple is entirely constructed of wood and is a tall, relatively narrow structure with steeply sloping roofs. History

The shrine was built 400 years ago by the Coven of Castell and the local people.

Tourism

The shrine is an important pilgrimage site for Khanna worshippers. Most visitors are priestesses and on occasion entire covens will come to Castell as a group. It is not uncommon for priestesses to remain as Castell for an extended period of time to study with members of the Coven of Castell. It is relatively rare for Khanna worshippers from outside the Valley of the Fair who are not priestesses to make the arduous journey to Castell, with perhaps a hundred such visitors coming each year.
