Humans: Human culture has been around for thousands of years, and is the most diverse culture in Corinthia. Humans are the dominant race, and have been for a long time.
Dwarves: Dwarven culture has been around for thousands of years as well; however, they were not always present in Corinthia. They migrated here from another country to escape persecution by the ruling class. They have been in Corinthia for about 500 years, and are still not accepted by the humans.
Dwarven culture is very similar to human culture; however, they do not like to be around other races because of their history with them. Dwarves will often go out of their way to avoid other races.
Halflings: Halfling culture is the newest in Corinthia, having been around for about 200 years. They are a very friendly people, and have integrated themselves into human society quite well. However, they do not like to be around dwarves because of their history with them; halflings have been enslaved by dwarves in the past.
In Corinthia decisions are not to be made without consequence, but indecisiveness means losing status, honor and respect from others.

POLITICS / GOVERNMENT
Corinthia is a monarchy, with the King being the ultimate authority. However, there are many other powers in Corinthia that have their own agendas and goals; these people often work against each other to gain more power for themselves.
Corinthian politics are very complex and difficult to understand; however, they are also very fluid. The King is the ultimate authority, but he has many other powers that are vying for his position, though none can achieve it due to the Crown and Rod of Corinthia.
The King is the only person who can remove the Crown and Rod from his head; No one can remove it without his acceptance.
The King has a Master of Protocol (MOP), who helps him navigate through Corinthian politics. This position is very powerful in its own right, as it controls access to the King and his decisions.
The Master of Protocol is also the King's personal advisor, and helps him make decisions on a daily basis. When the King is away from Corinthia and no other family is present, the Master of Protocol takes over as ruler, though this is rare and has only happened twice.
The Master of Protocol has a personal staff that helps him with his daily tasks; however, he also has a large staff that works for him in the palace. These people are responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the palace, and are also responsible for keeping the King's secrets, or letting them out in the world as the Master of Protocol sees fit. This has on occasion caused problems for the MOP, as his secrets are sometimes used against him.
Cuerrent population is about 1.5 million people, with a growth rate of 2% per year. The birthrate is higher than the death rate; however, there are many deaths in Corinthia due to war and other causes.
Corinthia has a very diverse population, with humans being the most common race. However, there are many other races in Corinthia as well: dwarves and halflings are the next two most common races; however, there is also an orcish presence in Corinthia that is growing every day. There are also a few other races that are present in Corinthia, but they are not as common.
