The Bank

Many speculate about the origins of The Bank but not much is known. There are stories about the first civilizations that used currencies establishing a bank that never stopped growing. Others say a super-conglomerate corporation created The Bank in order to fill its needs. Whatever the case may be, The Bank is now one of the most well known names in any large scale business.

Purpose

The Bank is the holder of the currency. Normalizing the use of the "gold piece" as a standard across the multiverse. Since its got footholds across plenty of crystal spheres its size and possible capital provide it power over whatever money the local population might use and the power to transform entire systems. If you're dealing in gold pieces, you're dealing with The Bank. Most of the time you won't need to look for The Bank, as they will find you when you need business. This is especially true for larger businesses as they'll often have a standing contract with The Bank. All of the currency systems, even those used by COU and SOSA, are based on and/or maintained by The Bank.
There aren't a lot of reasons for an individual to contact The Bank, as the bank mostly deals with businesses or corporations. However any person can open an account if they desire to do so.

Structure

Because of the nature of the inner workings of The Bank, there's no central base of operations known although they must have vaults and other structures located all over the multiverse. On all recorded instances of interactions with The Bank, there have been in contact with only a few individuals. Never showing up with more than 5 employees at a time. And that most of the management is handled by their parent organization, The Organization.
And most interestingly, when in need of a large sum of funds or assets they seem to show up whenever needed.
