The current Intergalactic Situation

The Situation in the galaxy has always been a tricky situation. With many different powers claiming and wanting their own part. But over the last couple of thousand years the situation has been quite stable. Since the great expanse, which has now become the reference point of any connected world, humans expanded their reach exponentially. Initially this was SOSA, originating from the Sol system and reaching the far corners of the current perceivable multiverse. This spread out humans in almost all locations, because of their relatively short lifespan. Combined with their big aspirations and ease of reproduction. The galaxy is now quite overwhelmed with humans and their standardized communication language (a.k.a Common) but this eventually resulted in them spreading out, splitting of from one of the many branches of SOSA, some even joining COU.
Consolidated Outland was the main opposing force during the great expanse. These are a large group of the most powerful elvish families who had already mastered inter-universal travel through the phlogiston. But they decided it was wiser to not oppress any civilizations as to not disturb the natural order of things. But when SOSA initially attacked they were quickest to assemble an army and protect the innocent. Causing them to be one of the only forces not destroyed by SOSA and the only one still big enough to remotely contest their army strength. But this has caused COU to radicalize and focus immensely on producing their own army. Terraforming different planets for different operations.
The third major power is The Organization. This is largely a mystery, whilst it seems this conglomerate has holds everywhere and ways of scaring the other 2 superpowers. Many haven't seen a single member of The Organization.
