Aorina is a werebear who was born in the little town of Sirena down the road from Rikar, her father was a blacksmith named Alsorn and a lady knight named Brenna who moved from Korra to the town just before Aora was born. Aora has 5 brothers one of them being her twin Broghan, her childhood was filled with love, life and hope until her 18th birthday. On her 18th year four months after her birthday her mother saw a group of bandits driving a cart through the outskirts of town with a few girls they knew from town in the back of them, trying to save the females while the others where out hunting and working for the shop they owned her mother took off after them ordering Aora to stay behind. Aora listened to her mother for a time but was too nervous to let her mother fight them alone, when Aora got to the scene however her mother was already bleeding on the ground clinging to life. As she held her mother in the last few moments of her death she whispered one name to her and showed a piece of cloth into her hands, the word was the name of the Blackwell family which's crest was upon the piece of cloth she had been given. When her father and brothers found her they were all distraught with anger and fierce need to harm those that harmed them.
Of course the first to run off was her idiotic twin who snuck off into the night trying to sneak into the compound in order to kill the infamous Garred Blackwell, but alas her brother never returned home and soon her father and older brothers followed trying to find him. A few weeks later as Aora was trying to help out her two younger brothers with hunting lessons a carriage arrived from the Blackwells with a covered cage in the back, as the man exited she knew who he was the famed Garred in the flesh. As he walked to the back of the carriage his men surrounded the younger males behind her taking hold of them as the cover was removed from the cage, inside sat her father and brothers malnourished and close to starving to death bruises all over their body. Unable to act quickly her younger brothers taken into arms Garred came face to face with her asking Aora why he should not kill them right on the spot, in the end Aora could do the only thing she could think of offer herself as a prize. That was when Aorina Ranick died and became Aora, Garred Blackwells favored slave.
Although most of the slaves Garred had wore collars Aora did not, she did as she was told when she was told and even ordered her father to work as a blacksmith on the collars that the other wore in order to save her family. Over time anger was an emotion she hid under the surface never able to release it upon anyone or anything unless told, this was how she met 'Syn' the assassin for the family. Aora was ordered to escort Syn to the capital for a mission in which Aora was also approached by Khemikelle to see to it that Syn made it back to Rikar unnoticed by the family, unsure what to do because of fear for her family Aora found herself shoved into a whirlwind of events that happened.
Khem and the other Wolves set free her brothers and her father from their binds, released Syn from his collar, started a war with the families, and wiped the Blackwells off the face of the planet. And all in the middle of that Syn claimed her as his mate against her will, made her fall in love with him, and she ended up pregnant with his child. Or make that two children. Through it all though Aora was a wall of force protecting her family old and new to the bitter end. Now the Queen of Weres she is a mama bear to the T towards her two loving sons Markus and Duragus and her powerhouse daughter Gwen.
