Koh

Koh is a Jikininki or hungry ghost who resides inside Noah. During his mortal life, he was a member of the Order of the Morning dispatched to Mong Bal. He found young Noah wandering the wastes. Taking her under his wing, he taught her how to cook.
He died of starvation after Noah failed to gather food for them. When Koh sent Noah out to gather food one day, she failed to find any, and he died of starvation. As a powerful warlock in the Dream World, starvation twisted Koh's astral form, turning his departed spirit into a Jikin-Inki, hungry ghosts with an endless appetite for food, known to devour the chefs and bystanders when their appetites were no longer able to be satiated. Noah vowed that day that she would no longer let anyone go hungry again, and that included her mentor's malignant spirit. Rather than fight or flee from the daemon, she willingly allowed it to enter her body. She resolved that she would become the greatest chef in the spheres and do the impossible by satiating a hungry ghost.
