The Dark Home

The Dark Home is the flagship of the Scourge of Io, the leading pirate faction outside the Rim. It originally belonged to the legendary smuggler Jim Kestrel and had the distinction of being the first vessel to sink a Koan Dreadnaught. After Jim Kestrel's death, his former cabin-girl, Klarisia, inherited the ship and used it as the cornerstone for her pirate empire.
Both Anh and Helix served aboard the Dark Home, the former for a brief period while captured by Jim Kestrel and the latter as a more permanent crew member after being captured by Klarisia.
