The Faded

The Faded are an artificial race created from the blood of a veiled priestes by the Mong Bal warlord He Jun. They appear similar to the Veiled but have nearly transluscent skin that is easily broken. They are able to blend in with their surroundings better than their forebear race, but lack their sapience.
The He clan was renowned for raising Veiled slaves of unparallelled quality, but during a coup against his father, He Jun carried on that legacy in a highly grotesque manner. He conspired with the Hanuman Brotherhood to unseat his father and capture The Veiled Priestess, using her blood to create the Faded. The Hanuman Brotherhood then struck a deal with the White Lion Armada to sell Faded soldiers, whom they use as assassins and shock troops.
The Party fought a group of Faded working on a White Lion warship on Sera. They managed to capture a sample to bring to Aleph for investigation, which caused Itthis to collapse into horrific nightmares of his organis being removed and cloned inside some kind of laboratory aboard an airship.
