The Twisting Palace

Seat of power of the Yuan ti. Held for generations by the isolationist Hebikon clan but now a Lesser branch of the dynasty has disposed of the Empress Wu Hebikon and taken a more aggressive stance towards its neighbors and non-yuan-ti until The Empress eventually reclaimed her Throne.
The Twisting palace is a great stone structure decorated with golden serpents and zealously guarded by those of the old faith. In the aftermath of Wu's attempt to reclaim the throne the palace began a great renovation dude to the damage that had occurred within in which many features including the Oroboros chamber, a mystical room in which the Emperors and Empresses of the past could give counsel to the current ruler, were changed and its contents moved to a new construction site along the Nehe River.
