Mystan Kaladan

Mystan is a gold-scaled Dragonborn Paladin of Jalitair, angel of liberation. His family was raided by slavers and his father kidnapped from their rural home in outlying Sprigstein territory, from which point he sought Jalitair's guidance to seek revenge. After much training, his ideals shifted from revenge to justice, and he currently travels with the Heroes of Celunia in an effort to rid Craedock of evil.

Personal history

As a young child I lived in a Small house in the countryside with my mother, father, a sister, and four brothers. At the age of fourteen an orc war chief and his army invaded my house taking my father enslaving him and sending my family on the run. I got separated from my family, ending up in the dark woods alone, and I learned to survive on my own, swearing I would seek my revenge and rescue my father one day.
It was not till Jalitair a great angel contacted me that I learned my true path and a way to not only follow in the path I swore I would one day, but also make sure this never happen to anyone else ever again. Jalitair chose me as a tool of destruction and righteousness to rid the world of evil in this life and the afterlife. During my intense training as a paladin for Jalitair I lost faith and started to question what I was doing.
As a renewal in faith I was taken hostage by a dragon for four months as I prayed that Jalitair would take mercy on me and let me finish my quest to become the tool I needed to be. I was set free by some adventurers who killed the dragon and Jalitair once again began my training. At the end of My training Jalitair granted me the use of a war hammer that I have been promised would never fail me as long as I have faith in the powerful Jalitair.
My faith now untouchable, I feel that for any crime committed, no matter how large or small, I am tasked with being the judge and executioner by right of the angel Jalitair. This is a heavy burden to have, but I believe now this is what I was created to do. This has become bigger then any revenge I have had for what happened to my family and more of a destiny to save the world from evil.
So I quested out letting my faith lead my way. Going from camp to camp and town to town righting the wrong I see along the way. Over time I could see I was starting to make a difference, for people would start to offer me food and a bed to sleep in when they see me, and wrong doers would hide or run as the word passed that I was coming their way. But the good seem to stop fearing the evil ones and started pointing me in the direction of those that would do others wrong. I would draw out my battle axe stained in evil blood and once again destroy more of those disgusting fowl people from this land.
