Baldur
The glorious god of bravery, friendship, and greatness, Baldur is one of the last deities to survive the purge of Niflheim. He is the realm's greatest warrior yet it was not by the strength of his sword arm that he lived, but by his strength of character. Though he subdued countless warriors in combat he always fought with honor and gave respect to his opponents and they showed him the same in return, never bearing a grudge or ill will toward him. He brought together many feuding clans and was known as the god of brotherhood. His religion values honor, camaraderie, diplomacy, and charity as well as skill in combat for Baldur was the most beloved of the gods, sociable and a gallant like none other. In the battle of Ragnarok where Odin, Thor, and others fought to stop Nesidth by force Baldur instead talked with her. His use of reason stayed her hand where no blade could and while the damage was done, he may be solely responsible for Nifl's continued existence as a realm. So diplomatic was he that the God Empress named him (albeit with Loki) regent of the realm.
