Loki
A deity of lies, intrigue, and ambivalence, Loki is one of the last gods of Nifleheim to survive the great purge of the First Epoch. While not the only deity to take on other forms Loki seems to transform in almost every legend and has forms ranging from dwarves and humans to trees and snowflurries. The principles Loki teaches are usually summarized as living for the fun of life, using brain over brawn, and embracing survival of the cleverest. The religion's tenents avow causing mischief, excess drinking, cheating, and even theft (ambiguously) as it was Loki who stole the recipe for mead (after being denied the drink for being too wicked to deserve it) and gave it to humans to brew en mass.
During the battle of Ragnarok she was nowhere to be found, but after Nesidth split the dwarf planet and created Ginnungagap she appeared to persuade Nesidth to leave her alive as one of her regents of the realm. Nesidth believed she could provide a good equillibrium to Baldur and accepted Loki's pledge of loyalty with the warning to never betray her. In most versions of events during her nine days in Niflheim Nesidth is seduced by Loki and gives her control over Jörmungandr after they lie together, but other sects and scholars say she already had control over Jörmungandr as one of her great miracles.
