Chaos Calamity

13 years ago a massive and powerful magical beast appeared in eastern Nalchaa and went on a rampage destroying all in its path and poisoning the land that remains a twisted to this day. The creature called smaller monsters to its aide so even the army's garrisons were unable to handle it while fending off an invasion from Dunevale. Once the beast attacked the Arcane Academy Stroheim and Hazamal fended it off with the help of many other instructors & students. Seeing the beast had some small vulnerability to magic they left with Magikoto to form an elite strike team to stop it. The calamity continued for several months until their team, dubbed The Almighty 8, followed the beast to Tsendo and slew it in a fierce battle. Injured & fractured, the eight were victorious and returned as heroes.
