Sun Elvs
There are few people more widely known than Sun Elvs of Casway, whom were once the high elves of old. Setting out from Aurgwyn Vale these elvs used a mix of diplomatic tongue and dexterous skill to spread their people through out the world until high elves were found in every society in the world, from fishermen of Albion to samurai in Nalchaa. 1400 years ago the Dark Ice Age ended with the work of the high elv Saint Quinniel and her comrades who ended the endless night and she became known as the first sun elv. All her kind shared a blessing of Nesidth as she preached to them and became their queen, so they became the sun elvs in turn. The next generations were born blessed, growing more beautiful and spiritually maturing more quickly as the world demanded. Sun elvs have transformed their society to be matriarchal and its warriors are almost entirely female. Special elven clerics and paladins called Solarians carry out special missions for the theocratic queendom adorned in shining metal armor hued purple. Men take up the bulk of mundane jobs and those aiding the armies work as smiths and the like. Their new pantheon places the god empress at the head and all elven deities are secondary at best.
The depictions of these elvs is often blonds and fair-skinned like the barbarians of Ondorme Plain, while this is the most common appearance for a sun elv their hair and skin tone can vary as widely as humans'. They have always been regarded as the most beautiful race even before becoming dedicated to the goddess of beauty. Elven wines are sweet with the flavors of berries and grapes grown in the early spring. The fruits are pressed in massive wide vats by freshly washed solarians training to fight in marshy terrain, charging at and knocking each other down with unsharpened swords and other "less lethal" training weapons. Some drinkers claim they can taste the maidens' touch in the wine.

- Size: Medium.
- Sun elv base land speed is 30 feet.
- Immunity to magic sleep effects, and a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells or effects.
- Low-Light Vision: An elf can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. She retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
- Weapon Proficiency: Elves receive the Weapon Proficiency feats for the elven thinblade, guisarme, spiked chain, and heavy crossbow as bonus feats.
- +2 racial bonus on Listen, Search, and Spot checks. An elf who merely passes within 5 feet of a secret or concealed door is entitled to a Search check to notice it as if she were actively looking for it.
- Automatic Languages: Common and Elven. Bonus Languages: Celestial, Draconic, Gnomish, Goblin, and Sylvan.
- Favored Class: Paladin. A multiclass elf’s paladin class does not count when determining whether she takes an experience point penalty for multiclassing.
