Has 3 Blue Young Sons and 5 young blue daughters. He himself is married to a blue cousin from the Cerulean Cliffs, where his house has its roots.
Johandrah has a history with House Mehiae as he put fire to Ardglass, as well as him being married to Didem Mehiae.
House Buchi blames House Mehiae for a rather smelly logistical screw-up, which was investigated and concluded the blame lay with House Buchi.
The unwillingness to conform with the metallic traditions that are adhered to in the Tawny shore, these being Esmir’s three sons (more than 2), a large number of daughters (five), and the interfamily marriage has resulted in house Mehiae being somewhat shunned by Duke and Marques.
Esmir, like many of his coloration, has an exquisite taste and wears stylish but formal attire, that somewhat obscure the strong physique, and has surprised many who took him for a weaker individual. He is also somewhat imperceptive to nuanced messaged and veiled threats, however, his wife picks up on these far better.
In addition to surrounding himself with his sizable family, he also has a sizable menagerie of animals which are tended to by himself and his family and include some dangerous and exotic animals.
Even though Esmir doesn’t adhere to metallic dogma he does fervently follow the Azure traditions, which in turn result in him and his family being rather impressive to behold, although the individual members are not the most beautiful.
Due to his rather disadvantageous position, being chromatic in metallic lands, Esmir is always scheming, and finding ways of expanding his influence, especially with regards to his Count, House Arotal.
