Halim
Marquess Halim Buchi
Marquess of the Northern mark of The Tawney Shore.
Fiefs
- Keep: Rye Hold
- Farm-Town: Fenworth
Mark: Northern Shore
- County: Count Jak’har Arotal
- Viscounty: Viscount Esmir Mehiae
Notes
- Has two sons one of which is brass young, the other Bronze infant and 1 Bronze adult daughter (which is married to house Jido, the duke), is married to house Jeanev.
- It seems the duke has taken a liking to the Buchi Family, compared to the other Marques.
- Following a rather smelly complicated logistical screw-up which was an endeavor between house Buchi and Mehiae a sizable delivery of old dung was delivered to Duke Jido, which investigation showed was to blame on house Buchi, it took many years of political maneuvering for Mark Halim to reconcile, this smelly affair still has impact upon the relations between the two houses.
- Halim is a more than capable Marque, and loyal to his duke, to which he has married his Daugther.
- This Marque is known for his (Too) grand library, which is truly a marvel. Which is also frequented by the marque who is an avid reader. Many of its walls are adorned with marvelous paintings of the lord’s own hand.
- Word around court mockingly suggests that the easily irritable Marque needs to replace his reading tables often as his habit of tapping his claws, in combination with his grand strength has resulted in many broken tables.
- Those that oppose or insult the marque or his in any way find themselves subject of sanctions as the lord is very protective of his family, both its members and its name, most likely the result of a black mark which has since been cleared up but still lingers.
- His keep is generally kept very tidy, as the lord is somewhat clumsy and tends to trip. He also tends to stare into nothingness, either as a result of, or the reason for his clumsiness.
