Krisat
Keeper of Secrets
The goddess of secrets, ravens, and mystery. Krisat is closely tied to the Kenku. It is commonly believed that the natural districts to others had given rise to rumors about these raven-kin being send by some organization that used them to mine secrets. As a result, these Kenku where, for a short period of time, heavily persecuted and often executed without a fair trial. Resulting in them retreating into the shadows where many believed they were from. Many of the Kenku started to also believe there must be some being that would explain their suffering, and with the desperate faith of the Kenku, combined with the fear of the others some initially unremarkable dealer in secrets, who had provided aid for the Kenku, was elevated to godhood, becoming the goddess Krisat.
Krisat is the goddess of unknown knowledge, secrets, and mystery, often possessing the answers to these conundrums. She is closely tied to the race that made her and eventually saved, as well as their mundane counterparts, Ravens. Many flocks to her, hoping to find answers they can't find, often finding more than they bargained for. With these answers often leading them on an unforeseen path, which often shapes their lives forever. Many consider Krisat to be a bit of a boogeyman, an unseen entity which knows more about their lives their closest friends do capable of ruining the life of anyone unfortunate enough to draw their ire.
The faith: Krisat's ravens
The faith of Krisat is generally practiced in secret, as the faith still has a negative stigma, and often only found by those in need of answers and with nowhere else to go. Those that follow the ethos of Krisat do so generally after they had their lives were drastically altered by the influence of Krisat, resulting in them having nowhere else to go. The draw of the power is also an allure, albeit one the faith ensures isn't used for petty squabbles, and is only used for the schemes of their mistress. the Kenku comprise the majority of the devotees of Krisat, although they commonly work from the shadows, and leave the public perception rest on those more making to the locals. These knowledgeable individuals are sought after both in the underworld, where Krisat's faith is both loved and scored, and by those in power, as their knowledge makes them great advisors. In both cases, the need for their information outweighs any stigma their faith might have, although these devotees walk a fine line, often making prime targets for assassination attempts.Shrines to Krisat
These buildings are often part of larger settlements, but because of their secretive nature, they don't flaunt their present, ensuring only those aware know the exact location. Due to the risk of them being found out and their location becoming public knowledge these hideouts are made in such a way they can relocate in a surprisingly short amount of time.Quests of the Faith
Those that seek the Divine power of Krisat often receive a vision about a specific individual, after which they are tasked to unearth whatever they can about them, anyway they can but preferably without being observed. After which they bring their findings to a shrine, during which the findings are in a ritualistic manner offered to Krisat after which the devotee gains the divine gift.Aspects of the Religion:
