The Tiefling Cabals

Forged by fire, and Strife

United by their heritage, the Auran regions stand united and provide a refuge to all of Tiefling kin, and are likewise closed to anyone else.

The Architecture

With their fiery nature being a defining factor of their race, the Aurans have learned to build their houses and cities out of iron and steel, lending their cities a unique appearance, which does carry over into their trademark ships.

The Land

These silvery buildings create a stark contrast with the sandy and rocky landscape, dotted with groves of lush vegetation. Due to the rough terrain and the metallic buildings combined and geological activity, the area is quite hot and humid, which makes land travel difficult and exhausting, the Tieflings due to their nature don't suffer from these conditions.

The people

Secretive and distrustful by nature, the large metallic cities, bustling with people most of the time go eerily quiet and become devoid of people. The few cowled locals visitors might encounter keep their distance and disappear quickly.

Organization

The Auran region is divided into three distinct organization:
  • Voroyrlid: To the north, around the main capitols
  • Dirclyw: To the southern border, Protection
  • Cappilev: On the Encalve to the West, Main shipyards

The Traders and the Mercenaries

All over the world, people know the metal vessels of the Aurans, these traders devote themselves to ferrying rare goods, retrieving supplies for their homeland, and providing refuge and assistance to any Tieflings they catch wind of,

The Ships

The large vessels are completely made out of metal and are propelled by a combination of magic and wind. Each of these ships functions as a legal and cultural expansion of the Auran regions. And due to their self-dependence, there is only a relatively small amount of these vessels, these ships are true forces of destruction and naval might when they are crossed.   Each of these ships is themed after the whims of its captain, often manifesting in distinct fiendish themes. Or rare occasions, these ships are accompanied with fiendish sightings.   A small part of these traders have taken the endurance of their ships to the next level, and use its might as a bartering power, with them offering their services as mercenaries for exorbitant prices to the highest bidders.
