Ratka

Ratka took more after his mother than his sister Damia. His mother Venelore, lived in Vallaki and worked as a waitress in the tavern when his father Stanimir visited the town with his troupe. She knew how to calm people with a single look, and knew how to put a man in their place. Even when he was younger, Ratka was a social and happy boy. He was strong and enjoyed playing with the other Vistani children, often coming out victorious in their games.

The passing away of his mother had much impact on the young Ratka, who found her body on the road a couple of days after she had departed. Stanimir and him had gone to look for her, after he hadn't come home from her trip to Vallaki. Her body was mutilated and her belongings were gone. They burried her body together with his sister, in a much more unceremonial manner as common within Vistani ranks. After that he honed his skills in combat, obessively.

He was a little older when Stanimir took him for his first mission, traveling amongst the Vistani to the lands beyond the mist. Stanimir at the time, taught him much about being a leader. And he learned much about the day-to-day coming and going of the troupe. He was barely an adult when he lead his own troupe to travel to Vallaki, where he tracked down and slayed the remainder of bandits that were responsible for his mothers demise.

Today he leads the traveling troupes from Tser Pools encampment. The other Vistani look up to him, and he is comfortable giving orders to his trusted comrades. He is sometimes cross with his father and sister, who have a more free spirit and both a stubbornness to them that defies his orders. He can be impatient and annoyed by these circumstances.
