Town of Vallaki
Features & Traits
- This town is well fortified by a wooden wall with spikes on top. Everyone that enters must register their weapons at the gate.
- The people are unhappy but, are forced to play a happy roll by fear of the Baron Vargas Vallakovich
- Every 5 days there is a new festival. Every citizen is required to help put up and take down the decorations. Outsiders are encouraged to help but, isn't necessary.

Puppet Show:
- While walking the streets, the PCs pass a puppet show run by a brightly-dressed man - Gadof Blinsky His small stage is surrounded by a half-dozen drab Barovians watching from the muddy cobblestones. The Tale of Berevthere once was a village were a lovely lady lived, she was happy and alive and shared all the happyness she could give.Then one day she met a monster, powerful and strong. but instead of fearing him, she made him happy with her songs.The monster and maid fell in love, and the monster offered her his hand. If they were married they would be happy, and end the curse of the land.But the daughter's father was hatefu;, and the cruel father said "Before you marry a monster, I'd sooner see you dead".So the father killed his daighter, with the priest and village by his side, the monster went unmarried, and so began to cry. The tears kept comming, and the river began to swell, it washed away the evil men, sending them to the nine hells.
Jeny's Shop Of Horrors:
At the end of a small dirty alley that branches off the road towards the back of a stable you spot a small rickety wooden building tucked between a butcher shop and a candle-maker. The structure leans to one side and looks like it should have by all rights collapsed years ago, but somehow holds on. Hanging on a peg above the door is a weather-worn wooden sign that depicts a green skinned old woman leaning over a large cauldron and holding out a shiny red apple, "The Green Hag".

There's Magic In The Air:
- An wild-eyed old man grabs the PCs and yells about dark magic and purple flashes of light from the attic of the Burgomaster’s Manor in the night. Two guards rapidly approach and drag him away.
Children Of The City:
- Two orphans stand on a street corner, singing a hymn to the Morninglord in off-key voices. The poorly-spelled sign on their bucket invites donations to St. Andral’s Orphanage. On closer inspection, one of the children has a dark bruise on their arm.
