Corellon Larethian
(a.k.a. The Feywarden)
Elven god of spring, arts, magic and the mercurial Fey, Corellon is head of the elven pantheon, and a major player in the core Eleron pantheon. Frequently worshipped by all manner of elves, eladrin, artists and some practitioners of the arcane arts. As patron god of elvenkind, Corellon is also considered a staunch protector of the race, and is the first to take up his longsword to take down those that would threaten them. As father of Fey and Elves, Corellon can be a flighty god, and a well renowned shapeshifter, prideful and powerful. His most commonly spread teachings encourage people to appreciate the natural beauty around them, and to fiercely defend culture and legacy.
Corellon, like the rest of the not-banished elven pantheon, dwells in the first layer of Arborea, Arvandor.
Worship
Temples to the Feywarden are common in elven cities, and shrines are occasionally scattered about the Feywild. His favoured weapons are the longsword and longbow, alongside his magic. Vestments of the Feywarden are made up mostly of dark and sky blues, with white. Corellon is notably a complex god, with different temples and teachings focusing on different aspects of the god. Amongst strongly elven communities the focus tends to be on Corellon as a protective parental figure, a fierce defender of elvenkind and elven culture. This focus was particularly popular amongst the Lisun Empire, where Corellon was portrayed as a stern or stoic warden. This interpretation differs from the typical depiction of Corellon, as he is typically known as a expressive and emotive god, who feels happiness, sorrow and anger all equally strongly. In the Eleron pantheon its his connection to spring, the arts and magic that is the focal point.Divine Domains
