Kingdom of Sien
Along the eastern coast of Eleron, with rolling plains, grasslands and miles of farmland lies the Kingdom of Sien.
Structure
King
The head of the kingdom, and political leader, the king takes on much responsibility.Spymaster
Part of the King's Council, the Spymaster is in charge of the information and secrets. The Spymaster directs and manages the kingdoms spies and scouts, collects information and presents it to the council. The Spymaster is most active during times of political stress or war.Royal Artificer
Given the kingdom's reputation as a technologically advanced society, this position is deemed quite important, and makes up another role in the Royal Council. There has only ever been one Royal Artificer, Gladrof Borin, despite his human nature he prolonged his life through clockwork replacements to his body. Though he actually participates little in the day to day affairs of running the kingdom, his machines and developments are the backbone of the kingdoms technological superiority over it's rivals.Assets
The Kingdom of Sien is immensely wealthy, owning several large trading settlements, as well as access to mines, vineyards, factories, enchanters and master artificers and tinkerers.
History
The city of Sien existed for some years before taking shape as a monarchy. As the small village grew into a town, from a town to a city, it became clear some proper leadership was required, however the founder of the city, Gladrof Borin, had no desire for that sort of responsibility or power. A monarchy was formed, with Gladrof enlisted into the King's Council as an advisor.
The line of kings has been.... tumultuous at best. Assassinations, power grabs and the like has meant the bloodline sitting on the throne changes every few generations. The current family is the Averetts.
