Kord

(a.k.a. The Stormlord)

Kord is the god of storms and battle, the reigning lord of strength, fighting prowess and thunder. Warriors and athletes pray to him for strength and endurance, while sailors and fishermen pray to him for calm seas free of devastating storms. Considered a rather mercurial god, Kord is wild and wields the power of the storm, yet he also believes in a fair fight.
Kord's domain is the Upper Plane of Ysgard, though he wanders the planes frequently with Melora, and visits Archeron to do battle. He typically favours dual-wielding handaxes.

Worship

Followers of Kord dedicate themselves to him with every battle or competition they participate in, every song and drink had in his honour. Vestments of Kord typically are fitted so as not to restrict movement, featuring blues, browns, and pale creams. In the Great North, particularly Morhiel certain styles of braiding hair and beards is also used to show dedication to the storm god.
