Elves

Elves are the half-Sentinel, half-Elven humanoids of Dankar. Across the continents, they are known as the crafters of Dankar, as many Elven cultures value objects made by the hand. They are often found doing jobs in art and design, but many also work in engineering, depending on their powers and interests.

Location

Elves can live anywhere on Dankar, but prefer to live in places of higher altitudes. In the Known World, many Elves live on the Floating Islands above the continent. In the New World, there are no floating islands, but Elves can be found in its mountains and cliffs. It is currently unknown if there are any Elves living in the Old World because it hasn't been explored much.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Elves have a similar body structure to Humans, although they tend to be more slender. They also have similar heights as the average Human. One noticeable difference is that Elves have pointy ears and slightly pointed noses. Their sensitive ears allow them to hear more sounds than most other species and can tilt towards the sound they are focusing on.
Elven ears also show what a person is feeling, depending on how they are positioned. When an Elf is angry, their ears tend to lie flat, whereas if they are happier, their ears seem more relaxed and open.

Elves have 5 senses, including enhanced hearing, allowing Elves to experience another world through sound. Many have said they hear weird sounds, especially when they are quiet. The most common tale is of the trees whispering or laughing with each other, which other species think is the wind and its movement. The sounds that Elves hear has led to many theories and legends of the Sentinels still walking among them and guiding them throughout their travels.

Powers

Most Elves hold one dominant power that takes up a lot of their soul's energy when in use. However, Elves can also unlock a second power, but it is much weaker than their first one. If they are of mixed heritage, their second power is from the other category of powers they have.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Elven hair colours are linked to the person's dominant power, like all other humanoid species. Constructors have blue hair, Naturals have green hair, Psychics have purple or pink hair, Kinetics have black or brown hair, and Elementals have red or orange hair.
