Humans are the half-Sentinels, half-Human species of Dankar. As all their ancestors have long gone, they are just called Humans, rather than half-Humans.

Location

Being the most versatile humanoids, humans can live almost anywhere, provided the area is warm and there is ample food supply. They tend to be found closer to sea level in the Known World and the New World.

Anatomy

Humans are humanoids who come in various shapes and sizes. However, most people tend to be slim and sturdy.
Like all species, humans have one heightened sense. They have sensitive skin, allowing them to have enhanced touch. Humans also have hair covering most of their heads and fewer hairs on the rest of their bodies. Human hair is extrasensory, and can help detect motion and vibration in areas with little light. They can also detect minute movements on their skin (e.g. insect movements).

Senses

As well as the five senses, humans have an enhanced sense of touch. This allows them to connect to the spiritual worlds with their hands or hair. In places with high spiritual energy, humans can touch their environment to access the spiritual realms of Dankar, although it is unknown if they can come back the same way.
Humans can also detect and evoke emotions in other people and animals via touch, but to a smaller degree than humans with Psyche powers.

Powers

Humans can hold up to two powers of equal strength, as they can split their soul energy between them. Scholars and academics have noticed these powers tend to be weaker. Some people believe this is a price humans pay for holding two powers. Humans are born with one power, but their second power is usually from the same category. If the person is of mixed heritage, then they'll unlock one power from each category.
Powers of Psyche are linked to humans' enhanced touch. People with these powers have to touch the object or person in order to use them.

Like all humanoids, hair colours are linked to the person's dominant power, although the reason is unknown. Constructors have blue hair, Naturals have green hair, Psychics have purple or pink hair, Kinetics have black or brown hair, and Elementals have red or orange hair.
