Timgira's Garden
Design
The garden is situated on the north side of the castle grounds. It is surrounded by a wall, which is about 3 meters tall, made of the same kind of stone as the castle. Inside the walls the garden is divided by hedges, almost 2 meters tall. They surround small places and some walkways, so if one seeks solitude they can aid. There is of course a small maze of hedge, and in its middle sits a beautiful fountain, with parts of the decoration made of seeing stone.
About a fourth of it is covered by a glass dome to simulate other climates. It is more tropical than the usual dartan climate, and has some rare flora growing there.
Water is transported from the river Miller Run, that runs through Orebo, via water wheels and pumps up to the garden and the castle. A small stream is directed through the whole garden, lightening the load of needing to carry water from the big well in the castle's main square. Easier watering and providing suitable habitats for both flora and fauna has made this garden a lush paradise in a bustling city like Orebo. When the water has run its course through the whole garden, it is led out to a wonderful waterfall flooding back to Miller Run and out to the ocean.
Denizens
This garden is absolutely teeming with life! As well as the over 100 categorized species of flora, many smaller animals have made their home here. Apiaries are placed throughout, aiding the flora with pollinators as well as collecting honey for the castle. Many birds nest in the trees, and man made nests are filled out for those having trouble to make their own.
There are also quite a few gardeners working here, tending to all the needs of life.
