Moradin, Grandfather of the Dwarves

Moradin embodies the ideals of craftsmanship, protection, and dwarven resilience. Often depicted as a stalwart figure adorned with smithing tools, Moradin stands as the patron god of dwarves, revered for his role in shaping dwarvenkind and instilling in them the values of honor, industry, and strength. He is hailed as the creator of the dwarven race, embodying their tireless dedication to craftsmanship, mining, and the forging of sturdy weapons and armor. Moradin's influence extends beyond the realm of artisans; he is a guardian and protector of his people, emphasizing resilience, tradition, and unity among dwarves, making him a revered figure and a guiding force within dwarven society in the vast world of Dungeons and Dragons.   The Dwarves of the Northern Mountains believe that Torag is the father and Moradin is the grandfather. Though Torag created all, Moradin created him, and even the other pantheons and deities. They also believe it was the Moradin that opened up the portals and brought the other cultures and races to Shiandria.
