Gulla ('guːlla)

Gulla, the twin of Goll, is a fair and tranquil woman. She has an engaging pallor across simple features with kempt locks of hair hanging to her shoulders. Dressed in a long brown skirt with her upper body covered in ornate, gold jewelry contrasting with the deep navy of her skin.   In Nemed's writings Gulla is the goddess of the moon. She is often said to be the moon itself, repeating its journey, never faltering from it’s set path and patient in its rotation. Gulla was separated from her twin, Goll, at birth. The two often represent the earth and moon, two bodies of the same making but divided.   Gulla is a rival to her twin brother, bothered by his lackadaisical nature. Although she tends to be a bit uptight when it comes to her duties, she also loves playing pranks on him.   Gulla's holy symbol is often a moon but also a simple circle, meant to represent that everything will come around and complete its cycle if you allow it to pass. Temples to Gulla are often found with blank silver coins, to represent both the moon, the circle and her connection to luck, that biding your time will bring you good fortune.
