Dermura
The Queen of the Plants
Dermura is an old nature Goddess/deity of nature who favours plants.
She is worshiped by both humans and a species called the Plant stars. Dermura appeared on different occasions and different times on earth and was worshiped by many different cultures and races.
In the 1500s, a book named after her, "The Codex Dermura" was written by an unknown author. It was written in Nathual and later translated into Spanish in the 17th century and then in 1830 into English. The book contains the names of many extraterrestial species as well as their history and biology and the locations they come from.
Although not much about the author of The Codex Dermura is known, it was written presumably by one of her followers who knew much about the gods and their inner workings.
Dermura came to Earth some time before the first plants started to develop. There she spawned the first plants and thus all plants originate from her. The Plant stars are a sentient species of carnivorous plants who eat animals to survive. They are mobile and look like normal plants which they also disguise themselves as.
Dermura is reported to have first appeared to humans during the reign of the Aztec Empire, but some suggest that she might have appeared earlier to hunter-and-gatherer tribes in Papua New-Guinea.
Her abilities are generally unknown to the public and her existence is thought to be purely in the realm of legends and myths.
She has a few different forms/avatars:
The first form is called "Lydia" and it looks like a human face. This form is widely reported to be the most common when encountering her. This form appears to present itself as the face of a human female in her 20s with a "souless" expression on her face. The face lacks sometimes skin and/or hair. She seems to take the form of any known human ethnicity she wants to present as, mostly the ethnicity most commonly present in a given society. She shows this form commonly to foreigners and people unknown to her.
The second form is called "Flesh of the Earth" and is mostly known by her followers. She appears as a flower with many tendriles and leaves. Her smell is thought to be delicious and beautiful, but in reality it dulls the mind of anyone smelling it and slowly rots away any kind of intellect the person might have had. This does not only effect humans though as animals and sentient plants seem to experience similiar outcomes. She appears as beautiful and fresh to her followers, but her leaves and her flower are rotten in reality.
The third and last form she can take is as a heart and is called "Abigail". Not much is known about this form. It seems to be a stronger form of herself which she transforms into when she wants to attack something or somebody. She is more vulnerable in this state too but her attack damage causes many who try to attack instant death.

History
Dermura and Yag were lovers long ago. They had an androgynous offspring called Camilla, who appears as a young adult asian female and sucks the blood out of helpless humans who walk too far into forests. They both broke up after Yag became more and more greedy and materialist, leaving her and their child Camilla alone. After Yag returned to Earth, she accepted him again hesitantly.
