Leonhard's Metalwork

Leonhard is a driven and capable smith, and despite the hardships he's faced, both from the stigma of being an Half-Elf and the current troubles in the town, he has repeatedly shown him a skilled artisan. And has always delivered his work in a timely manner. I especially apricate the fine detail works on the wood part of his work, which bears ancient elven scrip and seems to be woven into the metal somehow, truly a work of art.

The Building

Build in the foot of one of the many trees which are a common sight in the Elvish Hideaway the smithy of Leonhard Lamarr features a very natural design, with contrasts highly with the various metal tools and the stone basin for the coals. 

The People

The smithy is run by Leonhard Lamarr, a driven and well known member of the Half-Elf community of Neuhafen. Under his employ are two younger Half-Elves and a single Wood-Elf. These run the forge and tend to the minor aspects of the smithy. 

The craftwork

The metalwork created by this smithy is of good quality, but what sets it aside from the competition are the wooden parts (handles etc.) which are both beautifully decorated with ancient elvish script which few can read, and feature very ergonomic shapes which are very comfortable and soft to the touch. These handles also seemingly have absorbed the metal, as if the wood has grown around the metal, which gives the tools an unrivaled unity.

Beside the usual clients of the smith in this part of town, Leonhard's Metalwork features various members from other parts of town, who seek out his tools and work.
