About Ascension

Ascension is incredibly rare- even more so than Sudden Supercharge Meltdown. Ascension has only been recorded a handful of times in history, usually in religious texts, that describe demigods of incredible power, some strong enough to shape the earth, move the sky and control the cycles of death. These texts are only somewhat exaggerated, as Empowered who have Ascended are indeed incredibly powerful, and tend to have the ability to use most known powers of their predominant Subclasses.
An Empowered who has Ascended cannot reverse their Ascension, as they have complete mastery over their powers. They cannot get stronger, nor can they become weaker. Ascension also does not generally give Empowered the powers to use Subclasses or Classes of powers they can't already use. For example, an ascended shadowmancer may be able to wither and bloom plants, but cannot manipulate them in any other way that a Botamancer could.
