Telepathy is the fourth Major Manifestation of the Illusory Subclass. It refers to an Empowered
whose powers manifest as being able to read or speak into other people's minds. Oftentimes this power has a range of 60 feet centred on the individual, and most can turn it off- in some cases the power is present no matter how much one tries to shut it off. Telepathy can also be used to search for and detect other consciousnesses.
The information gleaned when mind reading depends on the individual being read from and the individual reading. Someone who thinks in pictures reading the mind of someone who thinks in words or sounds may be harder to decode. In some cases, this power can be used to read the senses being experienced by another person.
This Manifestation was officially added to the Corporeal Class in 1862 by Arthur Craddock and Doctor Moore when the Illusory Subclass was created.
