Kenku

Kenku

The Kenku are a cursed people, stripped of their flight and true voices, left to wander the material plane. Flocks of Kenku carve out territories among slums and downtrodden cities, pinching and pilfering their way through life. They are clever thieves of both coin and culture, lacking a creative voice of their own but perfecting the art of the mimic and forgery. The Kenku have no empires, no fortunes, and no standing, but even still they look upward, dreaming of one day regaining their ability to fly.

Kenku are few and far between, but in appearance seem so similar that it is hard to tell one from another. They all have a similar look of a humanoid raven, and mostly wear cloaks to hide their mottled backs, hiding away their broken wings. Each Kenku stands at about 5 feet tall and weighs between 90 and 120 pounds.   Kenku origins are unknown to all besides the oldest Kenku, who know of only legends of their birth. What is known is that long before Kadamitas  , the Kenku found solace in dark city centers, specifically those of Luswere. Nowadays they are cursed to wander the vast deserts and harsh environments of Sabulum.
