Nyllamanne
Nyllamanne, the No Man's Land, is the region east of the Cascading Range between Koyon and Yfel. It is a dry, sparsely populated area. Almost no Human, Elvirim, or Dwarvirim people live there, so it is called "No Man's Land" or in the Sudkou language, "Nyllamanne."
Geography
Nyllamanne lies between the Cascading Range and the Dragon's Fire Sea. It is dry and rugged, with steep valleys and wadis carved by the flash floods the sweep through them during infrequent torrential rains.
Ecosystem
There is very little vegetation or animal life in Nyllamanne, except where the land rises into the Cascading Range and along the coast. It is mostly dry and barren, cut by steep, rugged valleys and dry river beds. Along the mountain slopes, there is more plant and animal life, and some tribes of Orkrim live there. They are known to be especially brutal and hostile to other humanoid species.
What flora and fauna that does live there is typically stunted and deformed. Tough, thorny plants with waxy, spiky leaves full of burrs, poisonous snakes, lizards, and toads are the only things that seem to be adapted to the conditions in Nyllamanne. The only exception is along the coast, but even there, the grasses that grow along the dunes are sharp and serrated. They easily cut bare skin, leaving wounds that fester and are difficult to heal. There are also groves of Wax Rose bushes near upland streams, waiting to lure people and animals to horrible deaths. The animals found there are often poisonous, hostile, and dangerous - snakes, lizards, Savannah Wolf packs, carniverous rodents, Furmite swarms, and many others.
