Princess Masako Tachibana Larssen is the sister of King Einar Tachibana Larsson, and the younger sister of Duke Severin Tachibana Larsson, Duke Henrik Tachibana Larssen, and Duke Valdemar Tachibana Larssen. She is a strong supporter of the king; however, she is often in conflict with Queen Tatsu Tachibana Larssen.

Princess Masako is very beautiful, with large, wide-set, dark brown eyes and long, thick, straight, dark brown hair. Her face is oval and symmetric, with a high forehead, small, straight nose and full lips. She is approximately 5' 7" (170 cm) tall. She is slender and has long legs, a narrow waist, with proportional hips and full bust. Her health is generally excellent, but she is prone to catch small colds occasionally. She is not physically strong or athletic, due to her pampered upbringing, but neither is she weak.

Princess Masako was born just two years before the death of her father, King Hjalmar Tachibana Larssen. She was raised by her mother, maids, and older brothers, and is very spoiled, immature, hot-headed, and opinionated. She hugely admires her oldest brother, King Einar Tachibana Larsson, but is often in conflict with his wife, Queen Tatsu Tachibana Larssen, who she views as an outsider. Queen Tatsu tolerates her younger sister-in-law, but has been known to put her foot down when Masako goes too far in her disrespect. King Einar is often forced to mediate between the two.

Princess Masako is very intelligent and well-educated; however, she is spoiled and arrogant. She looks down on everyone she feels is inferior to her, either intellectually or physically. Since she is intelligent, beautiful, and pampered, she looks down on most everyone. Her arrogance and hautiness hide insecurity that resulted from losing her father at such a young age. Few others see this side of her, however, so other girls her age either fawn over her or treat her with disdain.

It is said that her beauty and clothing rival that of the most beautiful Imperial Consorts of the Great Sacred Empire in Sendoshi.
