First Permanent Colony on Luna

Founding

The first permanent colony established on another celestial body, the American/SpaceX Lunar base was a spectacular technological achievement and began a frantic space race to colonize both other areas on Luna as well as striving to do the same on other planets such as Mars. Eventually, after PANGEA assumed control over Luna, the moon was reproposed into a penal colony for mainly political and religious criminals.
