Captain Jess Harlcourt has been the captain of the Arundella since purchasing the ship at auction on the 20th of Mier, 920 P.U.. Birdie, as she prefers to be called, has served aboard the ships of the Independent Tornett Isles all her life and has developed a well respected reputation for balancing the risk and reward of the open seas. In recent years Birdie has had to replace much of her crew with a more inexperienced lot, as the old members of her crew retired or passed away, which has seen her stick closer to the Isles for now.
