Backstory | Reginald Ivoryclaw

He was born at home, a modest-sized mansion where his family lived a modest means – even though his father could never stop talking about how they were royalty and yet this was the only lands they currently possess. His childhood was generally a happy one full of several friends. He was an only child. He became a cleric because his father was a paladin and he didn’t want to be the same, but did want to earn some respect from his father by being in a similar profession. When he was young he remember seeing a very serious war break out near his home. He still has memories of the devastation he saw. He has now decided to go out and get what he believes his family is owed. He thinks the place to start is with possibly getting a mint commission in Neyer. Reginald’s father, Dolne Ivoryclaw has long spoke of how he was to be granted a “kingdom” but all Reginald has known is the little estate they live upon. He has lived comfortably, but not like a king – yet that doesn’t change his view. He has a bit of the entitlement from such an upbringing. His mother was Sorre Greatpride. Turns out he should have been rewarded more than he was given. There was an “NPC” who changed things and took his true title and allotments, only giving a pittance to Reginald’s Father. It was his father’s “best friend”, Zirin Shadowtooth, who betrayed him. He had been responsible for the filing of the paperwork, and so he transposed their names. Later claiming that his current wealth came from “other” means. In Neyer there is a copy of the actual royal charge, which somehow got filed, but never went anywhere. This copy along with a crate of royal mint (paid for by the main leonid kingdom’s charge) was to be distributed to Reginald’s father and now they have to get the kingdom corrected. Reginald’s “uncle” was able to stop this, but it was only after the paperwork was filed and set in motion. He had meant to take possession of the assets and refile the forged paperwork, but got distracted at some point.
