Matinne Torment

Matinne Torment is Alison Blaggerd's maternal aunt. When her sister Saba died in 1342 DR, Matinne took over raising Alison along with Alison's father Utho.
Though not a cleric, Matinne is an extremely devout follower of Ilmater. Her attempts to inculcate a similar sense of piety and morality in Alison have been a frequent source of conflict between them. Prior to Saba's death, Matinne served in temples to Ilmater full time, and she remains highly active in the Church.
Alison has bitten Matinne on at least one occasion.
