Jordan and his brother had a good home life though their father Edward Booker was traveling most of the time leaving them to mostly be raised by Lindsey Booker their mother. Jordan met Carol in college who had enlisted into the army and they married before her first tour of duty. They moved a lot and had Alice while traveling around the country.
After Carol died Jordan and Coral moved back to New York State in order to be closer with his family where his brother confided that he and Rachel wanted to go to the Palace of Ra and uncover the reason why their father never talked about his time there. Jonathan and Racheal than disappeared leaving their son Todd to be raised by his grandparents and uncle.
